Provider Yellow Pages Software
In 2006, J-SAT will release the Provider Yellow Pages, a web-based software application containing updated service, staff, and contact information on all the service providers in your area. This application lets your practitioners search for provider information based on corporation names, program names, locations, or types of service required. They can match offenders to the closest programs that offer the services they need in less than a minute!
Queries generate the:
-
Probationer Referral, giving probationers
all the information they need to understand,
locate, and attend assigned programs;
-
Local Provider Overview, allowing
probation staff to identify the range of programs
offered by each provider agency; and
-
Agency Evaluator Report, showing policy makers
how a provider compares to other provider averages
regarding target populations; staff experience,
education and diversity; and probationer enrollment and
success rates.
What difference will it make for my local or state agency?

Increasing case load sizes combined with government requirements for greater case management give probation staff no time to waste hunting for agencies that fit the needs of their probationers. The Provider Yellow Pages gives offenders, officers, and policy makers what they need to locate and evaluate services quickly and effectively.
How can J-SAT help get us started?
When your agency decides to purchase the Provider Yellow Pages software, J-SAT staff will:
-
Work with your agency to collect and enter current data from treatment providers in your area,
-
Provide staff training in operating the program,
-
Provide on-going technical support,
-
Train agency personnel in follow-up protocols for annual information updates.
